Brief Route description?:

A wonderful route suitable for walkers too. It winds it’s way along the renovated old railway track that crosses to and fro high over the River Greta. At each crossing you get great views of the river below and bird watching opportunities are everywhere.
The trail is a bit rough in places but perfectly manageable on my recumbent and I’m sure should be fine with many other disabled vehicles, although a manual wheelchair might be a bit of a challenge.
The good news is that there is a great community cafe in Threlkeld with lovely views over the hills.
